This prestigious achievement confirms Colliers Global Investors Italy’s positive approach in the process of transitioning towards sustainable development in the real estate and construction sector.
Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification is a globally recognised system for classifying buildings by energy efficiency and environmental footprint, with the aim of increasing their level of energy and water savings and thus of decreasing carbon dioxide emissions.
It is a voluntary system based on design, construction and management of sustainable buildings in which the prestigious certification is awarded according to an overall score in several macro-categories, such as sustainable site development, water and energy management, indoor environmental quality and reuse of materials.
This certification offers a significant value added, which provides even greater global recognition of the excellence of ED.G.E.
