1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text strings that the site visited by the user sends to their terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored and then resent to the same site the next time the same user visits the site. 2. Types of cookies used by the Site

Preferences: Privacy tab and then Set Cookies

• Chrome

Click on the settings icon located in the browser’s toolbar: Settings; click on Show Advanced Settings.
In the “Privacy” section click on Content Settings.
In the “Cookies” section you can change the following settings: Delete cookies, Block cookies by default, Authorise cookies by default, Set exceptions for cookies from some websites or domains.

• Firefox

Click on Tools and then Options.
Privacy Tab: in the Chronology Settings menu, select “Use personalised settings”.
Select the box “Accept cookies” and click on the exceptions to select websites that are always to be authorised or not with regard to the installation of cookies on your terminal.

• Opera

Preferences > Advanced > Cookies

Cookie preferences allow you to control how Opera manages cookies. The default setting involves accepting all cookies.
Users who have accepted the use of cookies by accessing the Website and ignoring the initial banner displaying the brief notice may change their cookies settings at any time and decide to block them.

5. CAN COOKIES ALSO BE DELATED?

Yes. In order to delete cookies as well, you will need again to configure your browser’s specific settings by following the instructions provided above (point 4).

6. How does the Controller use and process the Cookies?

Cookies are used in a manner fully respectful of applicable legislation, which establishes that such technologies are lawful for certain legitimate purposes relating to technical storage for the time strictly necessary to transmit the communication or provide a specific service requested by users, who may always object to the processing of their data relating to the storage of cookies by blocking one or more of them.
Data is processed using IT and telematic systems by parties authorised in advance and informed by the Controller.
The data is kept in electronic archives according to security measures suited to preventing data loss, any unlawful or improper use and unauthorised access.

7. Amendments to the Cookie Policy

The Data Controller reserves the right to amend or merely update this Cookie Policy, in whole or in part, including in response to any changes to the laws on this matter and those protecting the user’s rights. Amendments and updates to the Cookie Policy will be binding as soon as they are published. Users should therefore visit this section regularly to verify its contents.
